Rory grew up in Wyoming and loves his time in the outdoors. He has been painting for nearly forty years and has paintings in many collections. He always has a camera at the ready for that one scene that would inspire a painting. Rory also loves hunting, fishing, hiking and photography which he uses as a tool for ideas for his paintings. Having been in the west growing up gives him a knowledge of the wildlife and their habitat. He attended school in Wyoming and has an art degree from Casper College.
