I have loved to draw and paint since I was a young child. I grew up in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, graduated from High School, attended Oklahoma State University, and graduated with a BFA/Painting. I married, and moved to Oklahoma City, where I live now. I have six children, five grandchildren, two cats, and a dog. I stayed busy with my family, and when they were grown, I had more time for painting. Covid hit, everything shut down, and art, music, knitting, and gardening became my therapy . I took a workshop online, at the beginning of the pandemic. I got my certificate to be a Life Coach with Therapeutic Art from UMEDY-Florida. I love experimenting with new techniques, and am excited about being a part of the artist 's community at The Studios at North Gallery and Studios.
